A Trip to Rishikesh – Something that all of us are going to cherish for a lifetime!

16 May

Adventures are the best way to learn new things! Well, that’s why we headed towards this amazing trip.
With the motive to fill our souls, we were all set to hit the roads!

It all started with a lot of excitement and packed bags!
Waiting for the bus, we were roaming outside the office and then suddenly we heard the honks…
We hit the road with a shining smile and a lot of excitement.

We started our journey from our SEO Discovery office in Mohali on 11th of May. Singing and gossiping in the bus, we headed towards our camping site at Tip Top Valley Camp, Mohan Chatti, Neelkanth Road, Rishikesh. We had an arrangement of bonfire and DJ night over there. We were joined by another team of office colleagues from Delhi. We had a healthy discussion and we really spend some good time with them. Moreover, we enjoyed dance, music and campfire altogether.
The smell of a campfire along with good music is something that we really enjoyed.

Saturday was full of thrill and adventure!
We woke up to the chirping of birds and the sound of fresh water running down from a high place. All these sounds were highly pleasant to ears.
We then continued our adventure trip and headed towards the river rating zone.
The white river rafting adventure started with a complete guide about the whole path, the techniques how to handle the oar and how to balance yourself through the strong tides of Ganges river.

The main course of white river rafting in Rishikesh commences from Kaudiyala which is approx 40kms up by the road from Rishikesh.
There are different grades from Kaudiyala to Rishikesh which includes Marine drive, Shivpuri, Brahmpuri and then the final destination is Rishikesh near Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula.

That 16-18kms of raft was something exceptional and spell bounding.
Our whole team enjoyed the thrilling adventure of river rafting in Rishikesh. It was something inexpressible and fascinating.

After completing the raft, we went to Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula to experience the panoramic view of river Ganga and Rishikesh city. We also explored the market there in Rishikesh.

On Sunday, we left for Robber’s cave in Dehradun and experienced being a part of mystery movie with dark limestone, streams gushing into the cave and the sounds echoing inside the formation.

We didn’t wanted this trip to end, but unfortunately, it had to.
So, with a lot of good memories and experiences, we started our journey back to the Tricity.

It was a perfect outing with our team of creative minds from Management and social media.
Well, we hope to go on such amazing trips ofttimes.
